Life is not ended, its changed. The loss of a loved one can have a real isolating effect on those left behind. Having a place where the presence of the loved one is recognized is an essential aspect of grieving and living through the sense of loss and loneliness. My movie is about a father, Michael, who is trying to cope with the loss of his wife. Their 9-year old son, Tony, is dealing with his mother's death in his own way. Their different stories and methods of coping parallel each other throughout the movie but they don't realize that until the end when their stories come together. Anna, mother of the deceased and Lena, sister of the deceased, offer comfort to Michael and Tony, but ultimately their greatest comfort comes from their own places of solitude.
