A young novice and a group of monks transport a holy relic to Rome, facing deadly challenges.
Why watch the movie Pilgrimage?
"This Irish film brings an interesting cast - with Richard Armitage (Thorin from the 'Hobbit' trilogy), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher from the Netflix series) and Tom Holland (the newest Spider-Man in the movies) - to reenact a historic moment in the country. The atmosphere and tension are just right, taking us back to the medieval world. Unfortunately, the story is lacking a bit more, but the overall result will still satisfy fans of Irish culture, adventure or the Middle Ages."
