Why watch the movie The Hate U Give?
"Based on Angie Thomas's book, 'The Hate U Give' is a sad and, unfortunately, timely story, revealing how ethnic prejudice reverberates in US society (and, we can say, in Brazil). Amandla Stenberg ('The Hunger Games') plays a girl who tries to break the social bubble by going to study at the prestigious white school - but is involved with her reality when she sees her childhood friend unjustly murdered by white policemen right in front of her. From there, a social game and fight for truth begins. The cast also features Anthony Mackie ('Captain America: Civil War'), Common ('Selma'), and Regina Hall."
