"This is one of Netflix's riskiest bets for 2019. Directed by J.C. Chandor (of 'A Most Violent Year') and the same producers of 'Wonder Woman', 'Triple Frontier' features a star-studded cast, including stars like Ben Affleck ('The Accountant'), Oscar Isaac ('Star Wars: The Last Jedi') and Pedro Pascal ('Narcos'). The story takes place in a place that, in a way, is known to us Brazilians: the triple border between Brazil, Colombia and Peru (although the movie is not very accurate in terms of location), where crimes and drug trafficking from South America occur. Despite its shortcomings in the screenplay - full of clichés and misunderstandings about the culture of the region -, the feature-length film delivers good escape scenes and action."
