Why watch the movie The Kindergarten Teacher?
"What happens when a frustrated kindergarten teacher discovers pure, poetic talent in one of her students - creating an obsession for the child? That is the starting point of 'The Kindergarten Teacher', the American version of the award-winning Israeli film, now starring Maggie Gyllenhaal ('Crazy Heart'). The actress delivers one of her best performances of her career, giving life to a character in the midst of great emotional conflict. Director Sara Colangelo, in her second feature film, is successful in creating a drama that, as the facts unfold, gains the contours of a thriller. The film also features Gael García Bernal ('Amores Brutos') in the cast."
