A girl dreams, swimming in the sea of her old tears. Cold, biting, drowning, she writhes in memory. Time to leave. She has a plan to fall, to fail, to give up and go away. She looks for some razor blades. Her shadow puts one into her hand. She buys some pills. Her shadow hands them to her. She breaks into a gun safe. Her shadow hands the gun to her. She walks onto the road and stands in the night waiting for headlights to eclipse her eyes. She moves the razor into her skin, the pills into her mouth, her finger twitches on the trigger. She falls, she leaves, she goes away. In the peaceful dark she lays, warming her tears. Her shadow reaches out its hand and she embraces it. On the other side she looks at the camera, cold, dead, whole.
