Why watch the movie Mortal Engines?
"Based on the young-adult homonymous novel by Philip Reeve and produced by Peter Jackson (from the 'Lord of the Rings' franchise), 'Mortal Engines' is a journey into a world with steampunk aesthetics taken to the millionth power. Unfortunately, the narrative may sound a bit dull compared to the visual spectacle of the feature (created by WETA Digital, from 'Avatar' and, of course, 'Lord of the Rings'). A shame. Still, the story builds an interesting world, which can be better explored in the sequels."
