Putu Karang (Putu Arya/Komang Mahendra/Putu Bonus) lived with his grandmother when his parents transmigrated. Putu became alone when his grandmother passed away. He, who enjoyed drawing, then enrolled in the Fine Arts High School in Batubulan. While working at a shop in front of the school, he began offering his paintings. His encounter with Ayu (Yessy Diana) led to a romance despite the opposition of Mr. Karta, Ayu's father and the owner of a gallery. Ayu decides to run away and marry Putu, who later becomes an established painter. However, he chooses to return to his hometown, Nusa Penida, to offer his help.
