I Am Hurt tells the story of two newly arrived university students Ope and Matthew. Their journey on campus begins with both characters joining a church community in hopes of strengthening their faith in God by using their service and talent in the church. Unfortunately, their faith is shaken due to an incident that happened in the church that alters their relationship with the church, community, and religion in general. This story introduces us to how sometimes individuals can feel betrayed by their community.
