Why watch the movie Beats?
"'Hip-Hop Beats' is a great tribute to Chicago's hip-hop scene. The film features several surprise appearances from both up-and-coming and acclaimed artists in the genre from the city, as well as including original music from rapper Young Chop. Director Chris Robinson ('ATL: The Sound of the Ghetto') constructs a solid and well-executed movie with a positive and inspiring - albeit perhaps overly dramatic - message portrayed with the classic hip-hop stamp."
