The exploration within The Color of Vaccine: Part I bring stories as old as time and often hidden underneath trauma in POC communities, addresses medical mistrust, health inequality during the COVID-19 pandemic. Witness Central Illinois residents share their experiences and relationships with public health institutions. In contrast, public health experts and historians educate us about the history of medical mistrust and how/why it is ever-pressing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
