Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.
"Hellboy, a character created in comics by Mike Mignola, returns to the cinema in a new version, now played by David Harbour (the chief of politics Jim Hopper from the series 'Stranger Things'). The main novelty is the bet on a higher age range (with the rating for over 16 years old both in the US and in Brazil), which allowed to bring more blood, decapitations and brutality - pleasing those who felt the lack of this trait of the anti-hero in the previous features, directed by Guillermo Del Toro. The story itself has its ups and downs, without being very consistent or surprising, but the movie fulfills the goal of entertaining the viewer. In the cast we still have Milla Jovovich (from the 'Resident Evil' franchise), Ian McShane (from the 'John Wick' franchise) and Penelope Mitchel ('The Vampire Diaries')."
