"Before I Vote" (BIV) is a documentary series whose mission is to create greater community by unleashing America's biggest super power: our next generation of voters. BIV will make the case that politicians are using our wedge issues and broken systems to divide voters; and our only hope for redemption is claiming our power at the polls. BIV will be hosted by Jordan Roberts and Friends: our future generation of 12 audacious, young, and innovative journalists with diverse perspectives. As a nation, the human values and cultural values that define us are being fractured by a political, social and economic system, which feels beyond repair. "Before I Vote" will challenge our next generation of voters to stop accepting broken parts of our system as "normal," but, instead, look for solutions to save us from the dangerous polarization and apathy our society faces today, by exercising their immense power of participation in our democracy and unity at the polls.
