Why watch the movie The Guard of Auschwitz?
"In 'The Guard of Auschwitz', we find something uncommon in films about the Jewish Holocaust during World War II, in a narrative that seeks to distance itself from sentimentality. Although we see evil antagonists and their victims, the key lies in the relationship between the protagonists, a hero willing to fight to rescue two lives against all odds and a martyr who sees a fatal destiny that is increasingly difficult to escape."
