"DC Comics' animated movies produced by Warner Bros. Animation have focused on pleasing the most hardcore comic book fans; however, the passing of Superman is a widely known event, barely touched upon in the cinematic universe of said publishing house. 'The Death and Return of Superman' is a special cut that combines two films: 'The Death of Superman' and 'Reign of the Supermen', with more than two and a half hours of total duration. Although the animation style is not outstanding, the original dubbing work more than meets its goal, thanks to actors such as Jerry O'Connell, Rebecca Romijn, Rosario Dawson and Rainn Wilson."
