Gemini Man is an innovative action-thriller starring Will Smith as Henry Brogan, an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move.
"Directed by Ang Lee ('Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'), 'Gemini Man' delivers everything you'd expect (for good and for bad) from an action thriller starring Will Smith, in a script that seems to be a mix of the 'Bourne' franchise with 'I, Robot'. The cast also includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead ('Live Free or Die Hard'), Clive Owen ('Shoot 'Em Up') and Benedict Wong ('Doctor Strange'). The main character is a government agent who gets involved in a conflict against a younger version of himself, which brings up ethical, moral and even paternal issues. If the movie doesn't manage to engage us with its psychological veneer, the main differential is the technology: with the help of computer graphics, a 30-year-younger Will Smith is recreated."
