The gang is pulled out of retirement to investigate a mystery on a familiar zombie-infested island.
"Created in the mythical Hanna-Barbera in the late 1960s, Scooby-Doo quickly became a worldwide phenomenon. However, in the second half of the 1990s, the Danish dog was down, with no new episodes on TV. At that time, the first feature film directly to video with the character was released, called 'Scooby-Doo: Return to Zombie Island'. After 21 years and 33 animated films for this segment, the Mystery Inc. gang returns precisely to the same island full of zombies - in a mystery that, in practice, they never solved. The animation style follows the original Scooby series quite closely, but brings more modern elements. The final result is clearly a movie to entertain grandparents, parents and children."
