Why watch the movie Downton Abbey?
""Downton Abbey," which aired from 2010 to 2015, is one of the most successful television dramas in history and the non-American production with the most Emmy nominations. The movie continues the story a few years after the TV show ended and covers many of the elements that made the show a success. Look, you won't enjoy it as much if you're not a series viewer. Now, if that's the case, get ready to return to the wonderful settings and costumes of the early 20th century, with splendid performances by Maggie Smith, Matthew Goode, Tuppence Middleton, Imelda Staunton and many other original cast members."
