Why watch the movie Alma de héroe?
"Awarded at the Hispanic Culture Film Festival, 'Alma de Héroe' is a Colombian film that on the surface could seem like a war action movie. It doesn't really deliver in that regard, as its heart lies in its protagonist's tragedy: a man separated from his beloved by duty, which could cost him his life. It leans heavily into melodrama and never delves into the complexities of Colombia's war conflicts, but it works as an entertaining Latin American movie proposal."
