Why watch the movie Breathless?
"The history of cinema cannot be understood without the French New Wave of the mid-20th century, and 'Breathless' - the legendary Jean-Luc Godard's debut feature - is one of its earliest box office representatives. This movie, like many of its contemporaries, challenged the traditional way of making films at that time, experimenting with editing, hand-held camera and location shooting with natural light, to name just a few of its innovations for the time. An essential work of art in the repertoire of any cinephile, it will stay in your memory for its charismatic Jean-Paul Belmondo and captivating Jean Seberg."
