Why watch the movie The Freshmen?
"It is well known that studying medicine is quite difficult, but do we really know how demanding it is to become a doctor? French director and doctor Thomas Lilti ("An Irreplaceable Friend") presents the third installment of his film series on the world of medicine, "First Year," a film filled with nostalgia, camaraderie, and ambition, which also shows just how competitive the medical field is in its home country. The performances of Vincent Lacoste ("Live Fast, Love Slow") and William Lebghil are the heart of the film, so much so that the latter was nominated for both the César Awards and the Lumière Awards."
