Why watch the movie Hala?
"This is the second original movie from Apple TV+, the new subscription streaming platform from Apple – and the first drama. Selected at Sundance and praised by critics, the feature follows a girl (the titular Hala) on a journey of self-discovery as she finds herself torn between her desires, family, and religious obligations. The result is an engaging feature, held up by the charisma of its young lead actress, Geraldine Viswanathan.
