Andrew is a 10 year old guy who spends on Sila a short All Saints holiday with her sister Rossana and her mother Elsa, just separated from her husband. Surrounded by nature, knows Luke, son of a powerful and widower man named Don Antonio. Andrea and Luca establish a strong friendship, however, preceded by an argument, but they are overwhelmed by pain that their families flock, especially Luke, who lives in an environment of violence and corruption due to mafia past of his father and where it is also involved brother Saro. After the night of Halloween, where Saro fell in love with Ross, Andrew and Luke assist the killing of Saro near a dam. Luke does not want to live with his father and, with the help of Elsa, convince Don Antonio, who is preparing to leave the house, to stays with them so that he can live in a safe place.
