Best known for creating the legendary TV show Hee Haw (1969), the comedy team of Peppiatt & Aylesworth started out as performers. They wrote and starred in three TV series for the CBC between 1952-1957, After Hours (1953), The Big Revue (1952), and On Stage (1954).. They came to the US in the late 1950's and wrote, created or produced countless programs,such as, The Sonny and Cher Show (1976), The Judy Garland Show (1963), The Jonathan Winters Show (1967), Hullabaloo (1965), The Julie Andrews Hour (1972), and specials for Perry Como, Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Jackie Gleason, John Wayne, Jimmy Durante and many more! This program profiles their classic careers with interviews, clips, archive footage, Kinescopes, and new sketches shot just for this tribute.
