"Based on his YouTube series 'Shiro's Story', 'Blue Story' (also known by the title 'Gangues de Londres') is the first feature film directed by Andrew "Rapman" Onwubolu and inspired by his own experiences of youth, between street gangs in London. The most striking aspect of the film is undoubtedly the narration, performed with rap lyrics from Rapman himself, which gives the final result a unique and authentic identity. Stories of innocence corrupted by ambition and violence have been repeated many times in the history of cinema, but its racial context lends even greater importance to this British feature."
