Why watch the movie The Lion King?
"Nothing of 'Snow White', 'Cinderella' or 'Aladdin'. Perhaps the movie that moves the emotion of generations, even decades after its release, is 'The Lion King'. With a stunning African setting and a soundtrack that has been imprinted in people's minds and hearts, the feature film hits the mark with some daring decisions (the death, right at the beginning, is a milestone for any child), delicious characters and a story that follows the journey of a small lion that could be any of us facing the painful adversities of life. It is thus a refined, powerful, showy production. But above all, it is a beautiful tale about family, self-discovery and testing limits."
