"The filmmaker Aly Muritiba has established himself as one of the most interesting and diverse voices in national cinema. He speaks about youth, relationships, and the pains of the periphery like no one else, as evidenced in films such as 'Ferrugem', 'Para Minha Amada Morta' and the exceptional short film 'A Fábrica'. In 'Nóis por Nóis', meanwhile, he joins first-time director Jandir Santin to talk about a subject that is as current as it is painful: police violence against black and peripheral communities.
