Who is Billie Lourd?

Billie Lourd is an American actress. She is known for starring as Chanel #3 in the Fox horror comedy series Scream Queens (2015-2016) and for her roles in the FX horror anthology series American Horror Story (2017-present). She also appears as Lieutenant Connix in the Star Wars sequel trilogy (2015-2019).

  • Mark Hamill affectionately refers to her as his "Space Niece".
  • Originally auditioned for the part of Rey in Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) before Daisy Ridley was cast. This inspired J.J. Abrams to create the character Lieutennant Connix specifically for her.
  • For her role as Chanel #3 in Scream Queens (2015), she's constantly wearing earmuffs in every episode. This is a nod to the famous bun hairstyle worn in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977).
  • Billie graduated from New York University in 2014 after studying religion and psychology.
  • Billie had already filmed her debut role in Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) before she was cast as a regular in Scream Queens (2015).
