Jon Hamm's 19-Episode Crime Thriller Remains a Global Streaming Hit for Over 300 Days

Jon Hamm's best TV series since Mad Men remains one of the biggest shows on streaming worldwide. When Hamm was cast as Don Draper in AMC's hit period drama, audiences were introduced to one of the most nuanced and complex TV antiheroes since Tony Soprano. Mad Men ran for seven seasons and turned Hamm into a household name (along with Elisabeth Moss and most of its other cast members). 10 years after Mad Men's final season, Hamm finally returned to lead a TV series, again playing a roguish and complex antihero, this time with a lot less advertising and a lot more hard crime. Netflix's New 7-Part Western Epic With 87M Hours Viewed Remains a Global Streaming Smash

Netflix's near-perfect western adaptation remains one of the biggest shows on streaming right now. Netflix just added a lot of great shows to its streaming library. The original paranormal thriller, Below, recently dropped and is already taking over the streamer. Then there's Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which was recently added to Netflix for a limited time, along with Taylor Sheridan's Mayor of Kingstown, and Season 2 of The Gentlemen, all of which are in the top 10. In its second week on Netflix, East of Eden is still raking in viewers by the millions.

TVLine's Performer Of The Week: Hoon Lee

The Performer | Hoon Lee The Show | Netflix's "East of Eden" The Episode | "Departure" (October 1, 2026) The Performance | Narrowing down the gorgeous performances from Netflix's "East of Eden" adaptation to just one standout actor feels almost cruel. Throw a rock anywhere in the show's Salinas Valley, and you'll hit five performances you'll be thinking about all week. The most indelible of them all, though, has proven to be Hoon Lee's stirring work as Lee, a servant to Adam Trask (Christopher Abbott) who essentially raises Adam's twin boys when Adam is too emotionally unmoored to do so. Lee gives a disarming performance

Florence Pugh’s reign over Netflix’s U.S. television chart has come to an abrupt end.
