Why watch this film?

"Black Widow" is an extremely iconic release. The movie not only marks the return of the Marvel Universe to the cinemas, after two years, but arrives with the responsibility of opening the fourth phase of the MCU. In addition, it is also the most anticipated solo story of one of the most important and beloved Marvel characters. The feature has a rather late debut, and could be much more impactful with the right timing. Still, it is a great studio film, closer to "Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier" than other titles in the franchise. Natasha Romanoff is a spy trained in various combat techniques, which gives us a Marvel production that flirts with James Bond films (especially the most recent ones) or even "Mission Impossible". The action sequences were very well choreographed as expected, but what really steals the show are the performances, especially from Florence Pugh ("Midsommar") and David Harbour ("Stranger Things"). The actors have a lot of chemistry between them, they manage to convey the feeling of family and belonging, which are fundamental points of the character played by Scarlett Johansson. "Black Widow" should please both Marvel fans, consolidating itself in the genre, as well as action fans in general.
