Why watch this film?
'Injustice' is based on the 2013 game and, consequently, the derived comic book, both of the same name. Those familiar with the story already know that it is a different narrative within the DC Universe: in an alternate Earth, Superman is tricked by the Joker and ends up killing Lois Lane. Outraged, the hero assembles his own team to protect the world after the event, following a new (and distorted) vision of justice. The animation is quite intense, full of good action sequences - and with very violent scenes, of fights between the heroes. Perhaps the movie won't please DC fans in the animated world, which rarely disappoints. 'Injustice' strays a bit from this high standard and from the tone of previous productions, but still fulfills its role of entertaining.

Plot summary

The Man of Steel begins a reign of tyranny that can only be stopped by one hero: Batman. The splintered Justice League divides its ranks as the two former allies wage a deadly battle for freedom. In this alternate world of chaos, loyalties are tested, and the line between friend and foe blurs.

LEGO and Batman are, separately, two successful franchises for Warner. If they already cause (good results) separately, imagine together? In addition to a series of games, there are already some animated feature films with the same theme - with 'LEGO DC: Batman - Family Matters' raising the action and fun even further. The focus, of course, is for children, but Batman fans will eventually have fun with the references.

Shazam, formerly known as Captain Marvel, got a solo movie in 2019 and also an animated Lego version, where the fun hero will meet the Justice League. DC continues to entertain fans with their Lego versions of the famous comics, which manage to combine humor and good stories. 'Lego DC Shazam!: Magic & Monsters' is ideal for bringing the family together and having a great laugh. Following the line of 'Lego Batman: The Movie', the animation will please both adults and children.

The Other One - A fast-paced action, mystery and thriller film that follows a young woman with impressive telekinetic powers, desperately fighting for her life while unraveling the mysteries of her past, pursued by unscrupulous killers. With Blue Dragon Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress (Seo Eun-su) and Best New Actress (Cynthia), this film captures the protagonist's intense battle to find answers and justice, facing not only her persecutors, but also to his own inner demons.
Bloodsport
Jean-Claude Van Damme makes his starring debut in the descriptively titled Bloodsport. An American soldier at large in Hong Kong, Van Damme becomes involved in the Kumite, a highly illegal kickboxing competition. Whoever survives the bout will be crowned Kumite champion of the world…a title that has plenty of challengers with homicide in their hearts. The finale offers a duel to the death between Van Damme and reigning Kumite king Bolo Yeung. The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux, who serves as the film's fight coordinator.

The Order
In The Order, Van Damme plays a man accused of murder who seeks a sacred scripture in Jerusalem before it falls into the wrong hands, jeopardizing his freedom. With shades of Dan Brown and a script by Jean Claude Van Damme himself, alongside Les Weldon (screenwriter of another action star film, Replicant), the movie is what every fan of the Belgian actor wants: brawling, with a fun plot, and never boring.
