Would you like to see Tom Hanks in a post-apocalyptic world? 'Finch' is exactly that! The movie tells the story of a robotics engineer (Hanks) who lives with his dog, Goodyear, and is among the few survivors of a catastrophic solar event. Thinking of the future, the engineer builds a robot with the goal of being the caretaker of his dog. Thus, the three embark on a journey of fun, self-discovery, and distraction. Hanks, by the way, revealed that he loved participating in this movie because it has a positive and hopeful message. Despite living in a post-apocalyptic world, the characters are able to build a family, seek fun, etc. The film is directed by Miguel Sapochnik, known for directing acclaimed episodes of 'True Detective' and 'Game of Thrones'. A hopeful story with one of the most beloved actors in cinema as the protagonist.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is a new chapter in the franchise, although, truth be told, it doesn't bring much new. The duo are now allies in a fight for the fate not only of the Earth's surface but also of the world of the "hollow earth," where the titans come from. Don't expect here the deep anti-war allegory of Godzilla Minus One, the far superior Japanese film released just a few months prior. Here it's about seeing giant monsters smack each other in the face, like an hour of wrestlers aboard monster trucks. If that's what you're looking for, it's the movie for you. If you prefer some more humanity in your films, it's better to pass.

Code 8 was an unexpectedly successful film, putting Robbie (from the series Upload) and Stephen Amell (Arrow) back on the map and captivating audiences with a compelling science fiction story. Now, the saga returns with an intense plot: after witnessing her brother's murder and the subsequent cover-up, a teenage girl with abnormal abilities seeks the help of an ex-convict (Robbie Amell) and his former crime partner (Stephen Amell). Together, they confront a unit of corrupt police officers who use advanced robotic technology to avoid being exposed. A clever and entertaining sequel.
