A young man accepts a job in a junkyard, but becomes trapped in human trafficking.

Trailer

Why watch this film?

"7 Prisoners", a national production about human trafficking and exploitation, brings an extremely hard and difficult story to watch. In the plot, a young man (Christian Malheiros) arrives from the countryside with a group of friends to work in a scrapyard in São Paulo commanded by Luca (Rodrigo Santoro). They thought they were going to get a good opportunity to improve their lives, but end up becoming victims of a work system analogous to slavery. Directed by Alexandre Moratto ("Socrates"), it works as a denunciation film of something we know happens in many places around the world and causes an absurd feeling of discomfort. "7 Prisoners" is proof of how Brazilian cinema has grown in the last decade - and that it is also an alert tool for the atrocities that occur in our country and in the world.
