Translate the following text into US English: Right off the bat, a warning is in order: 'Jak pokochalam gangstera' is a three-hour long Polish biopic. Despite the exaggerated and unnecessary time to tell this kind of story, the feature film has its charm and strength. After all, it tells the story of Nikodem "Nikos" Skotarczak, one of the biggest gangsters in Polish history. Of course, it doesn't have the appeal of movies like 'The Godfather' or 'Scarface', for example. However, the little-known story to the general public helps give the film an aura of originality and peculiarity around it, showing the backstage of the Polish mafia world. Highlight for the young Tomasz Wlosok, from the series 'Kruk', who manages to pass on all the power of this little-known character beyond Poland.

How I Became a Gangster
Polish crime thrillers have done very well on Netflix, with successes like 'Entre Frestas' and 'O 'W' da Questão', as well as 'Como Me Apaixonei por um Gângster'. The director of the latter, Maciej Kawulski, returns with 'Jak zostalem gangsterem. Historia prawdziwa', whose very simple title already anticipates what the story is about and where it is going. This simplicity translates to the aesthetic and narrative level, in a film clearly inspired by great gangster films such as 'The Goodfellas' or 'Snatch', but which underestimates the audience, explains everything and, on top of that, offers an idealized and little human protagonist. It's not the best option if you're looking for a good police movie, although it has its moments.
