Trailer
Why watch this film?
An intense thriller that unfolds in real time, about a woman (Naomi Watts) who, while running through the forest miles away from the city, receives terrible news: there is a shooting at the school and her son may be involved - so she must return as quickly as possible, on foot. Even if the development leaves something to be desired, the premise and execution are very interesting, as the tension is kept by being told in real time. In addition, obviously, this is one of those long films shot with minimal cast and budget during the pandemic, so the story is carried by Watts' powerful and vulnerable performance.

The Saint
"The Saint" is based on the character Simon Templar created by British writer Leslie Charteris for the book saga "The Saint". He also appeared in several Hollywood films between 1938 and 1954, even having a radio series with Vincent Price in the role of Templar. In addition to two television series, in 1960, starring Roger Moore and 1970, with Ian Ogilvy as the protagonist. The popular character returned to the movies in 1997 and Val Kilmer emerged as the star of the moment. At the time, the actor was at the top and had just given life to Batman in 'Batman Forever'. Just like in Batman, "The Saint" divides the critics, some believe it to be Val Kilmer's best performance and others defend the opposite. The production has a confusing plot, but still manages to hold the viewer.

Above Suspicion
There are movies that don't need big action sequences or special effects to deliver an interesting story. 'Above Suspicion' fits this description, with its 1990s suspenseful atmosphere. The fact that it is based on real events contributes to making the plot even more engaging. Emilia Clarke is very good in her character - very different from other roles she has played in 'Game of Thrones', 'A Second Chance at Love', 'Han Solo: A Star Wars Story' and others. Another highlight is Johnny Knoxville, known for 'Jackass', who has a strong and unexpected presence on the screen. Director Phillip Noyce did an excellent job in building 'Above Suspicion', yielding good framing and an intelligent use of natural light.

Salt
If you like thrillers in the style of the Jason Bourne saga, 'Salt' is made for you. However, fair warning: the movie goes overboard with the action and special effects, making many of the sequences seem a bit absurd. On the other hand, it has Angelina Jolie in one of her last action roles, in the style of 'Tomb Raider' or 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith'. So, if you liked those movies, you have great chances of having fun with 'Salt'.
Thriller

Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga
An exclusive Indian thriller on Netflix in which a flight attendant and her boyfriend, deep in debt, decide to steal some valuable diamonds aboard a plane. What could go wrong? Everything, when they discover that a gang of kidnappers is also on board with their own agenda. Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga is somewhat predictable, and its beginning is a bit slow. However, it fully embraces the absurdity and tension of its premise once the protagonists' plan goes wrong. It's not an essential movie, but it is very entertaining.
