The Offering
'The Offering' is a generic horror movie, but it manages to be fun and keep the viewer's attention with good scares. The story revolves around a couple who suspect something is wrong after the arrival of a body coinciding with their visit to the boy's father, who runs his mortuary business under his residence. As the plot unfolds, more unexpected deaths occur and something malicious and from another world is revealed as powerful. Taking inspiration from Jewish culture stories, the movie even has some good moments and, if it weren't for the excessive concern with scaring all the time, it might even work as a great horror film. However, in the end, there is the feeling that it's to watch with the group, scaring each other and laughing at each other's fright.

The Boy Behind the Door
