Jella lives in a mountain village in Transylvania with her infamous mother. The women of the village banish the mother who has seduced their husbands. Jella expects a similar fate, so she flees to a stationmaster's house in the mountains. She finds a friend with the old man. Soon a young apprentice comes to work for the stationmaster. Will the young fall in love?
