"Interesting political action thriller, 'Black Beach' is another step in the career of award-winning Spanish filmmaker Esteban Crespo ('Amar', 'That Wasn't Me'). Here, specifically, we follow the journey of a lawyer who agrees to negotiate with an old friend who has become a kidnapper. Despite the "explorer" aspect of the feature film, putting white people saving the day in Africa, 'Black Beach' manages to bring up interesting questions and, above all, provoke the audience with some good and tense sequences on the screen."
