One hint, 6 chances, and a new movie to guess every day
A French actress filming an anti-war film in Hiroshima has an affair with a married Japanese architect as they share their differing perspectives on war, recounting, over many hours, previous romances and life experiences. The two intertwine their stories about the past with pondering the devastation wrought by the atomic bomb dropped on the city.

"One of the most acclaimed works of French director Alain Resnais' career, 'Hiroshima, Mon Amour' was compared to 'Citizen Kane' in terms of production. As for the story, some moments resemble 'Casablanca' - with the war context and even a reference to the movie when at one point we see a bar called Casablanca. The script is pure poetry, on the level of comparing a broken heart with the bombing of Hiroshima. 'Hiroshima, Mon Amour' is a story about how painful the memories we leave in the past are, and also those that walk alongside us throughout life. No matter how much time passes, certain scars will never heal completely. A strong, beautiful movie that makes pointed critiques of what happened in World War II."
