Biographical film about Italian footballer Roberto Baggio, a man who inspired entire generations to play football. A unique footballer, capable of thrilling fans all over the world.
"In Brazil, former soccer player Roberto Baggio became very well known due to the ball he isolated when he took the last penalty kick in the 1994 World Cup final, handing the trophy to Brazil. However, the Italian is much more than that. The fiction feature film 'Il Divin Codino', exclusive to Netflix, shows details of the 22-year career of the star, including the difficult debut on the fields and the conflicts with some of his coaches -- however, some of the Italian's glories are included, such as the three World Cups he played for the Italian National Team and the fact that he is still the only Italian player to score a goal in three different Cups. Special mention goes to the performance of newcomer Andrea Arcangeli, with his career still in its infancy, but who knows how to bring the different phases of the Italian footballer to the screen."
