Following a tragic car accident in Greece, Beckett, an American tourist, finds himself at the center of a dangerous political conspiracy and on the run for his life.
"An interesting action thriller starring John David Washington ('Tenet'), Boyd Holbrook ('Logan'), Vicky Krieps ('Phantom Thread') and Alicia Vikander ('Tomb Raider') and with vigorous direction by Ferdinando Cito Filomarino ('Antonia'). In a story reminiscent of Liam Neeson's good action films, such as 'The Pursuit' and 'Unknown', the feature film tells the story of an American tourist (Washington) who gets involved in an accident and then becomes the target of a conspiracy -- needing to cross Greece to be safe at the US Embassy. Although Filomarino sustains the story with some cliches and clichés typical of these survival films in foreign countries, 'Beckett' delivers an intense movie that should please those who like to mix action with good stories. It still has a cohesive cast, with Washington standing out, with performances that help the viewer get even more into the production."
