Why watch the movie Thou Shalt Not Hate?
"Painful, sensitive and full of ethical discussions, 'Non odiare' is for those who truly enjoy good dramas -- without relief. Directed by Mauro Mancini ('Teddy'), the feature film tells the story of a man who cannot save the victim of an accident because he has a swastika tattooed. In addition to the obvious problematic of this tattoo, the character has a history with the Holocaust: his father saw firsthand the horrors of Nazism and World War II. From there, the viewer is invited to enter the life of this character, ruminating between guilt and remorse, while the feature film constantly provokes us: what would you do in a similar situation? Would you save the guy?"
