A Sogra Perfeita

"The plot of 'The Perfect Mother-in-Law' has the essence of the genre in Brazil. Directed by Cris D'Amato, the filmmaker behind films such as 'It's a Fairy' and 'S.O.S. Women to Sea', the feature film tells the story of Neide (Cacau Protásio), owner of a beauty salon who wants her son Fábio Jr. (Luis Navarro) to get married. The suitor that appears on the horizon is the new beauty salon attendant, Ciléia (Polliana Aleixo). Together, they devise a way to bring the young woman into the life of the young man, who only thinks of staying locked in his room playing video games. That's when the plot takes shape and direction, with this story of love coming and going. With Protásio playing a character reminiscent of what was seen in 'Love Tying', in which the actress also plays a conflicted mother-in-law, the humor is familiar to Brazilians. 'The Perfect Mother-in-Law' does not intend to revolutionize the genre, nor to bring something really different. The feature film bets on the basics done correctly, without overdoing it, so that the audience can find an entertaining and harmless pastime."
