Two South African men navigate desire and self-discovery in a stunning African landscape.
Why watch the movie Heaven Reaches Down to Earth?
"A poetic South African short film about self-discovery, sex, and desire. 'Heaven Reaches Down to Earth' is the story of two men: Tau, who discovers his sexual orientation, setting off a series of thoughts and emotions in Tumelo, the other. A beautiful production featuring stunning African landscapes beautifully photographed, and the gaze of desire, in the context of gender expectations within African culture."
