Inside Llewyn Davis

"Named one of the 100 best films of the century by The New York Times. We all know those stories of suffering musicians who, faithful to their art, face all odds to make a living out of the art they love. 'Balada de un hombre común' (Inside Llewyn Davis) tells one of those stories, with Oscar Isaac as its protagonist who, homeless and barely enough money to eat, survives doing his thing while spending nights on his friends' couches. It's a movie as deeply melancholic as it is entertaining, which for once tells a story less cynical and more hopeful compared to the Coen brothers' most recent works at the time (particularly, No Country for Old Men). The cast is phenomenal too, including Carey Mulligan, John Goodman, Ethan Phillips, Garrett Hedlund, Justin Timberlake, Max Casella, F. Murray Abraham and Adam Driver."
