Why watch the movie Anastasia?
"Freely inspired by the decades-old legend of a surviving royal heiress to the overthrown Russian Empire, 'Anastasia' is a sophisticated production with rich story-telling. Highlights include the famous soundtrack by David Newman and a great construction of the villain Rasputin - hinting at him being the one to start the Russian Revolution with magic. Too bad that, in real life, more recent discoveries suggest that the real Grand Duchess never survived. Nothing that takes the magic away from this movie."
