Why watch the movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes?
"Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is a film with a tremendous responsibility: to continue a franchise considered nearly flawless by much of the audience and critics, which managed to steer the Planet of the Apes universe back on track. Here, many years have passed since Caesar's journey ended. The apes now rule everything—they speak and are divided into clans. This is where the journey of this film, directed by Wes Ball (Maze Runner), begins, following the life of Noa (Owen Teague), a young ape who witnesses his clan being killed after a miscalculation, sparking conflict with enemy apes. From there, the plot unfolds a quest for revenge while also delving deeper into this universe, tackling themes such as prejudice and overcoming differences, illuminating a new path for this universe to thrive on the big screen. Also noteworthy is the motion capture work of Kevin Durand (Abigail), who portrays the villain Proximus Caesar."
