This is the plot of the latest film from director Fatih Akin (of 'Soul Kitchen' and 'Do Outro Lado'), which mixes the spirit of current times, including its idiosyncrasies, extremism, fears, and dangers--worthy of the 2018 Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film. One of the great highlights, besides competent direction, is Diane Kruger's ('Inglorious Bastards') performance in the role of the protagonist. With energy, the German actress makes us feel the despair of a woman who saw her life torn apart--deserving the Best Actress award at the Cannes Festival.
