Why watch the movie Casablanca?
"One of the greatest classics of world cinema, starring an all-star cast and still being referenced in countless films, series, and books today. Winner of three Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director. One of the greatest commendations of 'Casablanca' is that it has aged impeccably - even though it still has some cliches and methods from its time that may seem strange to the younger generations, it remains a quintessential work of cinema. Not to mention the scenes and dialogue that have been repeated to exhaustion by cinephiles."

Casablanca: easy to enter, but much harder to leave, especially if you're wanted by the Nazis. Such a man is Resistance leader Victor Laszlo, whose only hope is Rick Blaine, a cynical American who sticks his neck out for no one, especially Victor's wife Ilsa, the ex-lover who broke his heart. Ilsa offers herself in exchange for Laszlo's transport out of the country and bitter Rick must decide what counts more - personal happiness or countless lives hanging in the balance.
