An account of the famous French sculptor's romance with Camille Claudel.

"Starring Vincent Lindon (of 'The Value of a Man') and directed by Jacques Doillon (of 'Ponette'), this movie tackles an important stage in Auguste Rodin's life, the creator of modern sculpture. It's when he gains great recognition and is commissioned what would become, for many, Rodin's masterpiece: 'The Gates of Hell', a sculpture based on Dante's 'Divine Comedy'. It's also when he starts his relationship with Camille Claudel, a French sculptor and graphic artist. Despite the movie lacking passion when depicting such important sculptors, it still manages to bring a didactic point of view, presenting them to a wider audience."
